Fortunately, our this machine perfectly solved above problems and applies to test metal structure, including small parts, thin plates, metal foil, high quality wire, thin hardened layer and electroplated coating, also can test non-metal materials like glass, jewel, ceramic and so on The test consists of two parts.
First, the diamond indenter is driven by a known force and press into the surface of the measured material.
Second, user measures the diagonal length of the indentation and inputs the data into the touch screen, then will calculate automatically HK and HV value according to the standard GB and ASTM.
